Remembrances of
Herman Frithjof Johnson
Herman Fritjof Johnson, 98, a long-time Chicago Area folk dancer and leader passed away on the morning of Wednesday, December 29, 2004. Herman requested of his wife, Helen, that no memorial services be held for him. However, Herman did not put any such restrictions on the rest of us. So thanks to Helen Pomerance Johnson's generosity, we have an opportunity to celebrate Herman's life and to honor him for the many ways that he affected our lives, to thank him for the kindness that he showed us all and to commemorate the 30 years of semi-annual dinners and dances that he hosted at his "Barn" in Chesterton, Indiana. <----- click on images to view a larger popup image -----> (click here for the Memorial Web Pages for Herman) To
